The Director of School Education Jammu (DSEJ), Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma has uplinked a website with the title ‘Atmanirbhar Jammu’ on the public domain.
The website has been coded, developed and designed independently by Jayendra Singh Jasrotia, an 11-year-old student of Jodhamal Public School Jammu by using HTML, CSS and JAVA SCRIPT.
The Director of School Education eruditely browsed the website and encouraged the student with the words that the work done by him is excellent of his age and to keep on doing such good techno-academic work for the students of school education in particular and the people of Jammu and Kashmir UT in general.
Jayendra Singh Jasrotia, a sixth class student, illustrated the infographics of the website and explained that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary concept of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ was the igniting force behind the compilation and reflection of the self-reliant image of Jammu province of JK UT of India.
“This website is focused on showing the world the unique aspects of local products from Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, Samba and Ramban districts of Jammu province,” Jayendra said.
Through this website, the Jammu province would be on the global arena with the Reasi Lithium – an electronic vehicle (EV) game changer for India; Lavender products – a purple revolution of Bhaderwah, Doda; Bhaderwahi Rajmash from Doda; R.S. Pura Basmati from Jammu; Saffron-n-Sapphire from Kishtwar; GI tagged Basohli paintings from Kathua; Poonchi Wool, Udhampuri Kalari and many more.
This website will popularize our local products and go a long way in ensuring the economic self-reliance of the local population of these districts of Jammu province, said Director School Education Dr Ravi Shankar.
