Three arrested with sharp edged weapons

Police arrested three persons and recovered sharp edged weapons from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq and assisted by Incharge Border Police Post (BPP) Kullian ASI Ranjit Singh laid a naka under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta and intercepted two persons, who were heading towards Phinder from Kullian.
During checking, police team recovered two sharp edged weapons from the possession of these persons and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Rattan Lal of Khepar Miran Sahib Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu and Ravi Kumar, son of Garu Ram of Prema Chak Dabler Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 111/2022 under section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Station RS Pura led by SHO Inspector Pawan Kumar under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta arrested a man along with sharp edged weapon.
The arrested person was identified as Dev Raj alias Kalu, son of Amar Nath of Ward Number 8 RS Pura.
A case FIR Number 177/2022 under section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation initiated.
