India reported 17,092 new COVID-19 cases and 29 deaths in the last 24 hours ending 8 am Saturday, data from the Union health ministry said. The total number of active cases in the country now stands at 1,09,568.
The daily positivity rate stands at 4.14 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 3.56 per cent. A total of 86.32 crore tests conducted so far; 4,12,570 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
A total of 197.84 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
